Tri-M Home & Building inspections (formally 3M Building Inspections) has performed pre purchase home inspections since 1989. Originally owned by Vincent D. McHenry as 3M, then sold to the current owner, Wayne F. Murray in 1997. The company became Tri-M when ownership changed. Vince has background in structural engineering and trained Wayne for over a year as part of the sales agreement. Wayne has backgroung in remodeling and received training from various home inspection training institutions, as well as training for wood destroying insects, septic inspections, and radon technology. Wayne is a certified member of ASHI, the American Society of Home Inspectors, NPMA, the National Pest Management Association, PSMA, the Pennsylvania Septic Management Association, and AARST, the American Association of Radon Scientist and Technicians. Wayne is state certified by the DEP, Department of Environmental Protection as a Radon Technician, and Tri-M is a state licensed Wood Destroying Insect exterminating company. (We perform inspections only)
